It’s a pulpy horror show based on a scripting fiction podcast that was first broadcast by Gimlet Media in 2018. But The Horror of Dolores Roach is something else. TV shows spurred into production by true crime podcasts are old news. But that presumably won’t be out until next year. Netflix has already commissioned a second season based on the 2023 Tour de France.
It focuses on the actual events of last year’s tour, and offers a much more insightful look into the personalities and exertions involved than a mere feed of the cycling events themselves can provide.
